By now you have probably have seen the new pictures of the Titleist 913 Drivers. If not, check out the pictures below.
The Titleist Staff Players will be testing the 913 Drivers this week at Congressional Country Club for the 2012 AT&T National. Players like Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott have been using the Titleist 910 Drivers, so making the switch to the new 913 Drivers should be an easy fit. We will have to see if players like US Open Champion, Webb Simpson and long time Titleist Staff Player, Steve Stricker will find some benefit of the adjustable 913 Drivers to leave the old 909 Drivers they are currently using.
The Titleist 913 drivers have the SureFit Tour Hosel system like the previous 910 Driver models. SureFit Tour Hosel system allows the club head to be adjusted to fit your swing. If you fade the ball too much, you can simply adjust the face to the closed position. Another feature that the new Titleist 913 Drivers has in common with the 910 Drivers is the adjustable weight port at the back of the club. This allows you to match the head weight with the many custom shaft options.
From the pictures, it looks like Titleist made some minor changes to the 913 Drivers from the 910 Drivers. The weight screw at the back of the head changed to a weight plate. The graphics on the sole and face also adds some spice. We will have to wait to see if Titleist changed anything inside the club head to improve performance.
We will keep you posted with any information that our staff gets from Titleist or other sources!
