Nike had a splash sale of the Rory’s Nike Method 006 Limited Edition putter. If you have not seen it yet, here are some pictures of the putter:
Yes it looks beautiful. Especially now that you can’t get it at standard retail prices.
1000 pcs have been produced around the world.
In the United States, Nike sold on their website and sold out in less than 2 minutes. $450 was the price.
In Japan, Nike sold 90 pcs in Japan for 46,000 yen with a free dozen of RZN golf balls! (If I convert it to US$ in today’s (4/21/2015) currency, it will be about $380.
But if you really want it, look on ebay! (no guarantee that they are real but going rate today is $1300 to $2300.)
1000 pcs just seems a little too much in my opinion.
I will wait for the Rory Grand Slam limited edition putter. Go Rory!
Speaking of winning putters, Jordan Spieth putting was magical at the Masters. He is another type of player like Tiger who does not change the putter or the style of the putter.
Have you seen the 009 putter from Scotty Cameron?
Putters are something special and magical. My favorite personal collection is the Designed by Cleveland putter.
What’s your favorite collection (I know you have tons of putters)
