Srixon’s newest Z irons and Z driver have been announced on their Japan website. The new drivers available are the Z565, Z765 and Z765 Limited. The ‘565 is a easy to hit 460cc driver for the higher handicapped player with a slower swing speed. The ‘765 is a 445cc player’s driver for the better player who’s looking to lower spin through a smaller head size. The smaller head also allows more shapability for those looking to curve their shots off the tee. The ‘765 Limited is smaller still at 440cc and features two forward and low mounted weights to further reduce spin for the fastest swingers. Expect the Z765 Limited to be a little pricier than the two larger drivers as well.
The new irons consist of the game-improvement Z565, the cavity back Z765 and the muscle back blade Z965. All of the irons feature a tungsten block in the toe for greater MOI and slightly higher launch. The ‘565 irons feature an undercut cavity behind the sweetspot to allow the face to flex more for greater ballspeed. Several shafts are available for these irons including True Temper Dynamic Gold, NS Pro 980GH, NS Pro Modus3 120, and Dynamic Gold D.S.T.’s.
