Honma…… not the most talked about golf brand, but one that should be considered when looking for a new set of irons. Honma is a golf company that is from Japan. Primarily known for their forging process (like many Japanese golf clubs), Honma has a unique structure that other brands like TaylorMade, Titleist, and Callaway should highly consider implementing into their irons lines.
Honma’s latest iron line are the TW737 series. They offer four different versions of the irons: the P, V, Vs, and Vn. At Fairway Golf USA, we think that the P and Vn are the most popular among players.
The Honma TW737 series implement iron structure like no other manufacturer. Although the top line on these irons are very thin, forgiveness is not sacrificed. The top half of the blade is thinner than a regular blade, but gets thicker towards the sole (as seen below). This allows lower center of gravity which translates into higher launch and lower ball spin.
The TW737 Vn is popular for golfers that want to shape the ball from left to right, or right to left.
