Rory McIlroy WITB 2017 (Taylormade)

Unhappy with his ballflight in the wind, Rory went searching for something better. He came upon Taylormade’s new TP5X ball and LOVED IT! After speaking with other tour pros with the TP5X in play, and extensive testing with clubs from different manufacturers, Rory decided that the Taylormade clubs worked best with the Taylormade ball. The most exciting are probably the “RORS PROTO” muscleback 5-9 irons that were made for the 4-time major champion. He is still not sure which clubs will be in his bag for this week’s tournament so he has 18 in there for now. I’m sure J.P. (his caddy) will make sure there are only 14 in the bag for the tournament. Have a look at his new equipment…
