2nd Place Isn’t So Bad: Brian Harman

Watching the U.S. Open this weekend, you might have noticed new faces at the top of the leader board. Five players in the top ten were chasing after their first major win on the PGA Tour. You might feel sorry for those that came up a little short, but you shouldn’t. This years U.S. Open prize money was record breaking with Brooks Koepka earning $2.16 million with a $400,000 bonus.

TaylorMade staffer, Brian Harman, tied for second with Hideki Matsuyama splitting $1.3 million. $650, 000 in one weekend is nothing to pout about.
