New players irons are being spotted at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational this week. Dustin Johnson is reportedly testing some new irons eerily similar to the ones made for Rory McIlroy (RORS-Proto satin) and the ones for Justin Rose (ROSE-Proto chrome). This iron bares a different badging, P730, which ties in to Taylormade’s other players irons for a completion of the P700 series. The sole width and blade length (77mm for the P770 & 75mm for the P750) seems to be the only difference between the two other models but the P730 is a true muscleback design for the best ball strikers.
The P-730 irons are available ONLY in 3-PW on Nov. 1st 2017 and will retail for $1399.99. True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 shafts are stock. We will have more specs and info on the P730 as it becomes available to us. Enjoy…
Confirmed: From the horse’s mouth via Twitter: “Testing some new @TaylorMadeGolf irons today. So pure!”
