What’s better than Mizuno JPX-900 Tour Irons??? READ THIS!

Brooks Koepka won the 2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills with the Mizuno JPX-900 Tour irons. These irons are made for better players that like a thinner top line. Koepka stated that his main reason to using Mizuno was the look and feel of the irons. This is what Mizuno is infamous for, LOOKS and FEEL.

Their new line, MP-18, did not let us down. Not only did the irons look good, but they felt softer than the JPX-900 Tour irons. Although it states “1025E” on both clubs, the MP-18 felt softer. The MP-18 is forged with 1025E pure-select mild-carbon steel. The grains in the metal are so compacted together, which is why it has a soft feel.

Many pros were seen playing these irons: Paul Casey, Luke Donald, J. Vegas, V.J. Singh, and none other than the legend Nick Faldo.

The new iron series from Mizuno also has a split cavity version, for those that want more forgiveness.

If there had to be a Rolex of golf clubs… the Mizuno MP-18 would be the one. These irons have a very classic design, that many old school players would enjoy.
