Nothing but complete dominance for Team USA at the 2017 President’s Cup. The tournament was one for the books with Team USA clenching 19 points, and 11 points for the International Team. The International Team got off to a slow start. After the first day it was 8.5 to 2.5, with Team USA leading. Although Team USA was on a home course
It was Daniel Berger who was able to secure the cup for Team USA during his singles match play on Sunday. Berger has made dramatic changes to his equipment this year. His current club sponsor is Callaway, but played for TaylorMade’s staff in the beginning of his career. It is really interesting to see that with such a dramatic switch of equipment, he started to gain success on the PGA Tour.
Before we get into detail on all of his golf clubs, I want to emphasize on his putter! This is a prototype putter. SURPRISE SURPRISE! Although we cannot get our hands on it, we can only dream, right?
It seems to be a variation of the Odyssey Two-Ball. However, the only difference is that it is red with the lines and one ball being black! Many of our customers are fans of the Two-Ball because of how easy it is to align. The closest thing to Daniel Berger’s prototype putter is the Two-Ball from the O-Works Red collection. All you have to do is paint/Sharpie the balls black! Now time for his Callaway bag…
Here is what is in Daniel Berger’s Bag:
