Xander Schauffele WITB 2018 @ Hawaii (Callaway Rogue Driver)

SDSU Alumni Xander Schauffele announced his partnership with Callaway Golf. Schauffele’s first two starts of 2018 were at the Sentry Tournament of Champions and this week’s Sony Open.

Much like Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Daniel Berger, Xander belongs to the graduating high school class of 2011. Schauffele is the first to win the Tour Championship in Eastlake during his first year on the PGA Tour. A win at the Greenbrier Classic and the Tour Championship is what led him to earning PGA Tour Rookie of the year 2017. This kid will be winning a lot more in the future.

Last year Xander was successful with TaylorMade clubs, can he handle the big switch with Callaway’s products?

If you Google “Xander Schauffele Sony Open” you can see what equipment he is using this week. It seems that he has been going back and forth in equipment.

Callaway’s equivalent of the TaylorMade P-750s would be the new Callaway X Forged irons or Apex Pro.

Most pros don’t find it hard to change driver, but irons can be a challenge to swap out.

WE WILL SEE.
