About this blog
At the Fairway Golf Blog we aim to provide the best golf travel blog on the internet. The Fairway Golf Blog focuses on golf and specifically golf travel all over the world – from where to go, courses to play, how to book, golf schools, the travel media etc etc. Naturally as golf enthusiasts we are also likely to stray into more general golf topics occasionally, but if we get off message too much please let us know. For the uninitiated, blogs (or weblogs) work like this: The most recent posts appear at the top of the page. And at the bottom of every entry are two links:
• “Permalink” allows you to bookmark a particular post, or to send it by e-mail to a friend
• “Comments” invites you to offer your reaction to that entry, or read those of others.
Comments are what set a blog apart from a traditional column because they create an immediate dialogue between the audience and author. Our contributors will be reading and responding to some of your comments and acting on some of your suggestions.
On the left-hand side of the page, you will see a list of authors and on the right a calendar. Click on a date to see that day’s items or on an author to view only his or her contributions to the blog.
Please keep your comments clean. Those which fail our house rules may be removed. If you see a post that is inappropriate, alert us by using the contact form and we will act accordingly.
You should be aware of our privacy policy.
And do try to keep your comments short and relevant to the posts they answer. We will reject off-topic posts because we want to keep this blog focused on the Golf and more specifically golf travel. Readers looking for broader discussions on other golf should visit one of our recomended sites in the blogroll.
That’s it - we hope you enjoy the Fairway Golf blog and look forward to talking to you.
