After a few warm up shots I decided to measure the distances on our lunch monitor. Out of 8 shots with the M1 3-wood, all were over 275 yards and my longest two shots were 293 and 300 yards OFF THE DECK!!! You have got to try these things. Come in and hit them today! Or email us at support@fairwaygolf.com for quotes and custom questions.

  • The new Callaway GBB Epic driver is amazing! The engineers at Callaway Golf have made a true breakthrough in driver technology by making the most efficient driver ever while retaining feel. I was gaining an average of 2 mph ballspeed in the exact same configuration over my Callaway 815 Big Bertha Alpha DBD but what was interesting was the ranges of ballspeeds. I only used my best shots with the DBD to compare against the Epic but my bad swings with my gamer (815 DBD) were averaging 157 mph ballspeed. My lowest ball speed with the new Epic was 164 […]

The fitter should also ask about your current clubs and golf game. It is always helpful to bring in the club you want to replace (if iron fitting, bring in your 7-iron) to test it against the PXG demo clubs. Once you’ve properly warmed up with your clubs, it’s important to get a baseline with your current set. The fitter will begin to look at the deficiencies, if any, with […]

  • Taylormade’s M family just got longer and more forgiving. This year’s M1 features 43% more carbon fiber, predominantly in the toe. With less weight at the bottom of the head, distance is gained due to a lower CG. Removing material from the toe has allowed Taylormade to add material to the back-end of the head, which gives 64% more front-to-back CG movement. The 27 gram weights will sit on a longer T-Track, giving players more ball flight options. Taylormade will offer the M1 in a 440cc, as well as the standard 460cc. There will be two versions of the M2 […]
