  • The 2017 Callaway Epic and Epic Subzero had ground breaking technology. The Jailbreak bars increased customers ball speed on average by 3 mph which translates to about 10 yards. The titanium bars behind the face really do provide better energy transfer. Distance is great, but I noticed that the Callaway Epic drivers were not forgiving. In order to get a good shot out of it, you have to had hit the ball between the two titanium bars. If you didn’t, then you were left with a rinky-dink shot.
