  • Taylormade’s Ultimate Driving Iron (UDI) release a couple of years ago was decent but not great. However, there is a cult following for the club. This new Taylormade P790 UDI that we have seen on the range at the WGC Bridgestone looks a bit smaller in sole width but still has a generous blade-length to increase forgiveness. This model, with its new technology and sleeker design should appeal to the masses a little bit more. Keep in mind that these irons are not usually used from the fairway but they can be.
