The Hayate driver is designed with a shallower face for Higher launch and more distance. This driver works well for slower swing speeds, requiring a higher launch and more spin. The honeycomb MG sole has 2 weight ports and and a low center of gravity for easy launch. The head also features a Floating Weight Structure (FWS) with interchangeable weights. It definitely means that these are quality-made products as all Miura irons are. These Giken MB-5005’s feature a cutout right behind the sweetspot. This moves more of the clubhead’s mass to the perimeter of the club for more forgiveness on off-center hits. Are they really so much smaller than today’s muscle-backs? I have included some pictures for you to see the big differences.     We have been receiving a lot of orders and inquiries lately for Miura’s 1957 muscle-backs which are more commonly known as “baby blades” so I decided to measure them (crudely) on a measuring stick here at the shop.
