  • PING has always been a company about customizing clubs to the player. They understand that different golfers need different specs, especially for the fairway wood. Why the fairway wood you might ask? There’s many reasons why having trusted fairway woods are important: when the driver is misbehaving the woods are next in line, or if you need to reach the green in two in order to beat your playing partners. Sometimes you hit a poor shot off the tee, so you have to make up the distance and get your ball back into play. I really like fitting customers, especially […]

  • When you think of PING, you probably think of Bubba Watson’s drives. The DISTANCE and the CONSISTENCY is what you’re looking for. He’s not playing too well right now, so that’s probably the only aspect of his game that you want to acquire. Bubba has claimed to gain an average of 6 yards to his drive, just by switching to the PING G400 driver; that means the average Joe can probable gain at least 10 more yards!  Bubba has also been hitting 60% of his fairways this year, which means the G400 offers control. Now that you know the PING […]

  • There are two types of irons out there: Forged and cast. The main difference is the way that they are made. Forged irons are made by starting with a solid piece of metal, and stamping them into the intended loft and shape. On the other hand, the creation of cast irons start with molten metal, and poured into a pre-made mold. Now your probably asking why this even matters. A lot of it has to do with performance and feel. Forged irons such as, Miura irons, are notorious for having the softest feel because of the way they are forged. […]

These new irons have less offset and a thinner sole and topline than the i Series E1 irons but still retains some perimeter weighting for enhanced forgiveness and accuracy. We received demos of the standard Dynamic Gold s300 and X100 irons shafts with the head and these shafts will be standard (no upcharge) on the iBlades. You can also get N.S. Pro Modus3 105, Project X steel, Ping AWT 2.0 or True Temper XP95 steel shafts as available options. Our staff has hit […]

The new line has 4 designs thus far and feature 2 blade putters (Anser 2 & Voss) and 2 mallet putters (Oslo & Bergen). These putters feature a milled face for better initial roll of the golf ball. Also available is a larger grip which might alleviate the need for Ping putter owners to don SuperStroke grips. These putters are projected to be available late summer this year. Have a look… Let us know what you think and send us an email with any inquiries […]

Nevertheless, this is a noticeable move to more of a traditional muscle-back design for the most clandestine company in golf. As with everything else at Ping, we’ll have to wait for any details of the new irons but the release should be sometime this summer. As always, contact us […]
