  • Watching the U.S. Open this weekend, you might have noticed new faces at the top of the leader board. Five players in the top ten were chasing after their first major win on the PGA Tour. You might feel sorry for those that came up a little short, but you shouldn’t. This years U.S. Open prize money was record breaking with Brooks Koepka earning $2.16 million with a $400,000 bonus.   • Jason Dufner leapt out ahead of the field with a pair of 65’s the first two rounds of the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio this weekend. He was able to survive a 5-over 77 on Saturday by keeping his nerves and putting stroke in check on Sunday for a redeeming round of 68. The wildly expressive Dufner (rolls eyes) received the congratulatory handshake from Jack Nicklaus for a job well-done after sinking a 30+ footer for par on the 72nd hole to win the tournament.
